libec0 software package provides Library for modular symbols and elliptic curves over Q, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libec0
libec0 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libec0 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libec0 *
You will get with libec0 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
